Due to the activity of a volcano on Iceland the flights that usually cross this skyway were cancelled. Since the celebrations for Queen Margrethe's birthday take place today and tomorrow and many european Royals are attending this could cause troubles.
Queen Sonja's flight from Norway has been cancelled. Crown Prince Haakon is stuck in London and most of the flight from there have been cancelled, too.
According to the list of departing flights from Stockholm no flights to Copenhagen have been cancelled, so the Swedish Royals could be present today and tomorrow.
Most of the flights from Belgium and the Netherlands have also been cancelled.
According to one newspaper article the Norwegian Royal are not able to attend tonight, another one says that the Swedish and Norwegian Royals are coming by train.
Let's hope that most of them will be able to come. Tonight and tomorrow in the evening we'll see who made it ;)
