Engagement interview of Prince William and Kate Middleton

For those who missed it (including me), the full interview can be seen here.

BBC - Engagement interview of Prince William and Kate Middleton

In this interview they talk a lot about the proposal in Kenya and why William has given her his mother's engagement ring: "It's very special to me. As Kate's very special to me now, it was right to put the two together."
"We have been going out a long time. We had spoken about our future and it just seemed the natural step for both of us", Kate added.
And Prince William revealed he asked Kate's father for her hand in marriage after he asked her.
"I thought if I ask Kate first then he can't really say no," he said.
Both want to have a family, which is very important for them, but "take it one step at a time. We'll sort of get over the marriage first and then maybe look at the kids. But obviously we want a family."

Cette jeune femme est un modèle de persévérance mais épouser l'héritier de la couronne anglaise n'est pas rien et mérite bien d'attendre ;)

So Kate....you did it !
