Review: The year 2010 in pictures

2010 is almost over, so I decided it would be nice to have a look at what happened this year.

In April Queen Margrethe celebrated her 70th birthday. Due to volcano activities some of the Royals didn't make it to all of those celebrations.

After seeing a couple's thearpist, Princess Madeleine and Jonas Bergström called off their engagement on April 26th. Madeleine flew shortly after that to New York where she stayed most time of this year.

The World Cup 2010 took place in South Africa this time and ended on July 11th with Spain as winner.

June was wedding time for Sweden ;) Starting with wonderful pre-wedding events, the long awaited wedding of Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling took place on June 19th in Stockholm.

On June 23rd the engagement of Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock was announced.

In the beginning of August the Swedish Palace confirmed the relationship between Prince Carl-Philip and Sofia Hellqvist.

On August 6th the Danish Royal Court announced that Crown Princess Mary is expecting twins.

In September the Crown Prince Family of Denmark moved officially to Amalienborg.

In November the Norwegian Royal Family announced to go abroad for two months.

On December 16th the British Royal House announced the engagement of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

I'm pretty sure 2011 is going to be as eventful as this year was ;)
