I don't think Princess Mary is copying anyone. The blue dress is by Malene Birger. You can't possibly say that Malene Birger got her idea from Duchess Catherine? Absurd.
Meh ..Mary is pouring over magazines looking for inspiration from Catherine and this number was definitely inspired by Kate ...imitation is the ultimate flattery! It's cool plenty of people are obsessed with the Duchess' style

Kate wore this outfit already in the summer. A blue Stella McCartney dress with her long Olympic gold/diamond medallion necklace.

Inspired by Catherine sounds more like it. Princess Mary looks great regardless.
The cut of the dress is nice, esp. like the shoulder detail, but the colour is a little too vivid for my liking. The shoes are another disconnect.
