This is really an official picture?! She looks like 50 years old. Definitely do not like it!

This is one ugly portrait, the face looks rather harsh, although he could have captured her exactly as she is after all he met her and we have not.
He changed the color of her eyes which is weird.

Lovely outfit! Very elegant and nice. Bravo, Kate! I have the presentiment that we'll witness beautiful pregnancy style...

The portrait itself is very nice and her smile has been captured well, however the eye area is hideous and does not reflect her youth and energy. I had a giggle - is the white haired man the painter? - because in one of the shots it looks to me like Catherine is giving him the bird. probably a thanks for the extra wrinkles he added on the portrait which she does not have in real life as yet!

p.s. I don't like the dark background, would have preferred lighter. the dark surround makes Catherine look, somehow, ominous.

in a month or two we will see a baby bump!!...Kate will look wonderful in maternity wear ...

yes the white haired man is the painter ...maybe Kate was unconsciously giving him the finger ..lol ...but of course she was polite and grateful and only said she was thrilled with end results ...
I mean she can't really come out and say her painting sucks, right? ..Heh

yeah the painting really doesn't do her justice ..she shouldve been painted with her usual wide happy smile! Her pretty smile is Kate's trademark but to portray her with a peeved off expression, the artist pretty much failed!

IT IS MUCH POSSIBLE THAT THE PORTRAIT IS DONE ACCORDING TO THE REQUESTS OF KATE ITSELF. OF COURSE THE PAINTER IS A FAMOUS ONE AND HE COULD NOT PUT FOR EXAMPLE THE BLACK BACKGROUND BY HIMSELF - NO WAY - BUT HE FOR SURE WAS FOLLOWING THE REQUESTS.

THE PAINTER SHOULD FULFILL THE REQUESTS AND OF COURSE THE ADVISERS OF KATE RECOMMEND SUCH TYPE OF PORTRAIT BECAUSE OTHERWISE THE PEOPLE JEALOUSY COULD SAY THAT ALL THE WORLD IS UNDER HER FEET BECAUSE SHE LOOKS VERY HAPPY ETC ETC ETC. BUT NOW PEOPLE SAY THAT KATE IS MUCH NICER PERSON. THOSE ARE THE WORDS THAT THE ROYAL FAMILY WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE.

AND AS A CONSEQUENCE KATE ITSELF SAID THAT SHE LIKES THE PORTRAIT.

I think that the portrait's ghastly even if the technique of the painter is brilliant. but it doesn't do her justice. she looks much older and puffy. which she isn't. And she had to say she likes it. the dress is nice. I like that colour on her.
