Queen Beatrix to abdicate on April 30th!
It's official now. Queen Beatrix is going to abdicate on April 30th.
From this day on Crown Prince Willem-Alexander is called King Willem IV and we have a Queen Máxima to look forward to :)

Amazing news!
I know this is a Princesses blog but I hope we will still see Queen Maxima here, she is fantastic and I really love her style.
This came as a surprise, I guess the Queen has had a stressful year and feels the need for some rest. Hope she enjoys her new endeavours.
