Lovely dress and necklace, I like them very much. However Kate still likes the black shoes, and I think she should veer towards the nude or cream colours. Even with her height, the black shoes are unflattering. And.... if you choose to wear a dress with a thigh-high split - wear it with pizzazz! Not hiding behind your clutch purse :)
