Queen Beatrix and Crown Princess Máxima attended today the world premiere of the dance opera "Pygmalion" at Carre theatre in Amsterdam. The opera is performed in the framework of the 63rd Holland Festival. The dance opera Pygmalion, a coproduction of the Holland Festival with the Festival d'Aix en Provence, the Athens Festival and the Teatro Real in Madrid, has a unique vision on the baroquework of the French Baroque composer Jean-Philippe Rameau.
