Crown Princess Mary is pregnant with twins!

The Palace announced today that Crown Princess Mary is pregnant with twins.

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince and Crown Princess have the great pleasure
to announce that the Crown Princess is expecting twins.

The birth is expected to take place at Rigshospitalet during the month of January 2011.

Reporters from Billedbladet met Prince Henrik today where he made a statement. Billedbladet "Of course I am happy because I am always happy to have children around me'",
it sounded cheerfully from the prince, who almost seemed relieved that the happy
news of the Crown Prince couple expecting twins, had finally become official.

And also Frederik's brother Joachim who heard about the news at Grasten some days ago has reacted: BT "He was more than ordinarily happy when he told it. It's great that he can give the good news to those closest to him. Now the whole family is somersaulting with joy. I see the same joy in his eyes, as I experienced myself, when I became a father".

According to the Royal Court CP Mary had no fertility treatment and got pregnant naturally. The sex of the babies won't be made public until the day of birth. CP Mary is now in her fourth month pregnant. She will perform her duties as long as it's possible.

Now also Frederik has been asked about what he is feeling. ekstrabladet "That the stork landed at our place with two children I didn't expect.
- I've always dreamed about having many children. It's always a miracle to have a child - now we've been hit by a double-miracle".

Congratulations! Prince Crown Frederick and Princess Mary of the wonderful news. I am very happy for them and as for the Royal Dish - pack your bag and get a life! Long live the Denmark Royal Family.
