A new picture of Prince William and Princess Catherine, taken by Mario Testino, had been published the day before the wedding, together with a thank you letter for the support they are getting.

The ceremony started at 11 a.m., when Kate Middleton and her father arrived at Westminster Abbey. The wedding was led by the Archbishop of Canterbury and lasted a bit longer than an hour.

At exactly 10:51 a.m. Kate Middleton left the Goring Hotel where she stayed the night, together with her father. They drove in a car along the Mall to Westminter Abbey. Her bridesmade, sister Pippa Middleton, drove to the church some minutes earlier. Prince William arrived at the church about 40 minuter earlier than Kate.
